The dental fluorosis statistic contained in this report is based on children too young to be assessed for dental fluorosis and therefore understates the reality of fluoride-damaged teeth in Peel. This obvious fact was originally pointed out to the Community Water Fluoridation Committee and Regional Chair Frank Dale, then-acting Medical Officer Dr. Lawrence Loh, Health Commissioner Nancy Polsinelli and CAO David Szwarc in February 2017.
An official complaint was made at that time to the CAO.
