Our comment:
$1000 towards the world expert on fluoride toxicity who has over 35 years experience both clinically and doing research, who traveled all the way from India to tell Canadian health authorities that they are causing harm and confusion with their bizarre water fluoridation theory and practices, + $20,754 on Council’s illegally-closed-to-the-public water fluoridation meeting = money that would never have been spent if the Region hadn’t already been spending $450,000 annually to illegally mass medicate residents, including infants, pregnant women, the sick and the elderly by dumping 460,000 kgs of industrial waste fluoride pollution contaminated with arsenic and lead into our drinking water, thereby inflating the epidemic of dental fluorosis.
What is dental fluorosis? “Permanent hypomineralization of tooth enamel due to fluoride-induced disruption of tooth development … in people with high exposure… occurs only when exposure to fluorides happens during tooth formation‘ — Health Canada’s description.
In 2007, Dick Ito’s study, funded by the Region, found that 34% of the fluoridated Brampton 7 year olds sampled had dental fluorosis, which was more than double the unfluoridated Caledon kids (16%). Yet Council continued fluoridating our water, continues to this day, and the Region is in full-blown coverup mode, stooping so far as to publish a blatantly unscientific, grossly misleading and most likely fraudulent updated dental fluorosis report.
