Hi Sylvia,
I don’t know if you’re wildly incompetent and ignorant, or intentionally malicious, but you certainly managed to misrepresent myself and other members of this community in your “A Warm Welcome to Peterborough, Dr. Piggottt” hit piece.
I note that you never reached out to me before publishing said hit piece – despite the fact that I am the woman who served poor Thomas, and my name is provided at the beginning of the video you cite, and I am very easy to find online.
You insinuate that myself or one of my colleagues harassed poor Thomas in his own home. Who did any such thing, Sylvia? No one that I know of.
You insinuate that I was loud and rude. In fact, I was soft-spoken, exceedingly polite, and even apologized in case I was disturbing poor Thomas during his dinner. I only slightly raised my voice after he slammed his door in my face, in order to point out that he had been served.
If receiving the Notice – that I lawfully, peacefully delivered – was worse for poor Thomas than living in war-torn Congo, he obviously had a pretty cushy stint in the Congo.
You inaccurately claim that:

In truth, I waved nothing at poor Thomas even though I had plenty of opportunity to do so, and he/him had already begun slamming the door before I even took his Notice out of its container. This is perfectly clear in the video, for everyone to see. One can only wonder how and why you would get such simple facts wrong.

Regardless, be sure to let me know which of the “COVID-19” facts you are able to refute with solid evidence, since you’re apparently convinced that poor Thomas is doing right by the people of Peterborough.
Sylvia, I notice that you completely left out the part of the video (@6:30) where, minutes after I served the Notice, my colleagues and I were walking away, police arrived and announced that poor Thomas had made a blatant public-mischief, false-alarm report that I had tried to hit him. And that police have not bothered to charge poor Thomas under s. 140 (1) of the Criminal Code.
The sad reality is that no one needs to leave Canada to witness crimes against humanity. And to make matters worse, most people are so ill-informed – thanks to people such as yourself and publications like Peterborough This Week – that they actually identify with and cheer on the perpetrators.
Sylvia: referring to members of this community as “yobs” and publishing blatantly biased disinformation about them is not helpful or ethical. You owe us a public apology. Your ignorance does not make us the bad guys.
